🏆 SPORTS BRING THE BIG MOMENTS
Arsenal opened the season with a statement, beating Manchester City 3–0 in the Community Shield. Riccardo Calafiori scored after just 23 seconds — the fastest goal in the fixture in 58 years — before Kai Havertz and Martin Ødegaard added to the damage.
Golf delivered its own runaway performance as world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler won the FedEx St. Jude Championship at 17 under par, finishing eight shots clear. It is Scheffler’s 21st PGA Tour victory and his second win of the 2026 season, setting up another major week as the FedExCup playoffs continue.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is still ruling the box office, taking another $70 million domestically in its third weekend. Its domestic total has reached $785.8 million, while its worldwide haul has passed $2 billion — making it only the eighth movie ever to cross that global milestone.
