1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating a VIBESXS account, or by using VIBESXS as a guest, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the platform.
2. What VIBESXS is
VIBESXS is a mood-based music streaming platform. Guests and registered listeners can play music matched to a mood or listening context, build a personal listening history, use mood-driven tools like the Autonomous DJ and ISO Journey, and optionally connect compatible smart lighting to react to what’s playing. Artists and labels can upload and manage music through a separate, invite-based contributor system.
3. Accounts
Creating an account requires a valid, real email address you control — sign-in is passwordless, using a one-time code sent to that address each time. You’re responsible for keeping access to that email address secure; anyone who can read a code sent to it can sign in as you. You must be old enough, under the laws of where you live, to agree to these terms on your own.
You can change the email address on your account or permanently delete your account at any time from the Your Vibe page, both confirmed with a one-time code, without needing to contact us.
4. Guest access and account tiers
VIBESXS can be used without an account, at a smaller daily play allotment than a registered Free account gets. Free, Premium, and Elite tiers each come with their own play allotment, described on the sign-up page; allotments and their reset cadence may change, including as part of a promotion, and the current numbers shown on that page are the operative ones at any given time.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, play allotments, account suspensions, or any other access control on the platform, including by creating additional accounts to replace one that’s been suspended;
- Use automated tools to create accounts, scrape the platform, or generate artificial plays, favorites, or referrals;
- Interfere with the platform’s operation, security, or other users’ access to it;
- Use the platform for anything unlawful, or upload/share anything you don’t have the rights to.
An account found violating these terms may be suspended without notice. A suspended account can’t sign in or play music until it’s reactivated; suspension doesn’t itself delete your account or its data.
6. Contributor content (artists and labels)
If you’re an approved contributor uploading music, you confirm you own or are authorized to distribute everything you upload, and you grant VIBESXS the rights necessary to stream, analyze, and display that content on the platform for as long as it remains listed. You remain the owner of your own work.
7. Rewards and referrals
Contributors may be eligible for a rewards program tied to genuine listener engagement and referrals, described in more detail elsewhere on the platform. Accounts or activity that appear designed to game the program (rather than reflect genuine listening or genuine referrals) may be flagged, frozen, or reversed, at our discretion.
8. Smart lighting integration
If you connect a compatible lighting device, VIBESXS sends it mood and playback data to drive lighting effects. You’re responsible for your own device and its configuration; VIBESXS isn’t responsible for how a third-party device behaves.
9. Changes, disclaimers, and liability
VIBESXS is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time. To the fullest extent the law allows, VIBESXS isn’t liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
We may update these terms as the platform changes; continuing to use VIBESXS after an update means you accept the revised terms.
