Find a Live DJ

Every VIBESXS Party Pass event comes with our own Autonomous DJ — free listening for you and every guest you invite, no in-person DJ required. But if you’d rather have a real one playing your event (instead of, or alongside, the Autonomous DJ), here’s where to look.

VIBESXS is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or partnered with any of the services listed on this page. We don’t receive any commission, referral fee, or other benefit for these links — they’re listed here purely as a starting point for your own search. We haven’t vetted any individual DJ listed on these sites, and any booking, payment, or contract is strictly between you and the DJ (or the platform they’re listed on) — VIBESXS is not a party to it.

Where to look

Cueup

A DJ booking marketplace with a strong Canada-wide presence — city-specific pages for Toronto, Montréal, Vancouver, and dozens more. Every listed DJ shows an hourly rate, a star rating, and review count up front, and booking happens through an in-platform message before anything is confirmed.

The Bash

A larger, longer-established event-vendor marketplace (part of The Knot Worldwide) with active DJ listings across Canadian cities including Ontario and Québec. A good second option if Cueup’s coverage is thin in your area.

Before you book

  • Confirm the hourly rate, any deposit, and the cancellation policy directly with the DJ before agreeing to anything — listed rates are a starting point, not always the final price.
  • Read reviews on the platform itself, and ask for recent examples of their work (a mix, a video, past event photos).
  • Check they can actually travel to your event’s location — a DJ’s listed city doesn’t always mean they cover your specific neighbourhood or venue.
  • If your venue requires proof of insurance or specific equipment, ask before booking, not on the day of your event.

Hosting a VIBESXS Party Pass event?

Your Party Pass already covers free listening for every guest via the Autonomous DJ — you don’t need an in-person DJ at all unless you specifically want one. For comparison: Cueup’s own pricing data for the Toronto market puts the average in-person DJ rate around CA$140/hour (typically CA$100–$200, varying by city), which works out to roughly CA$400–$820 for a 3–4 hour party — your Party Pass Autonomous DJ is included at no extra cost. If you do want an in-person DJ too, nothing about booking one through the resources above changes how your Party Pass works.
